The day started with a massed band rehearsal. Massed pieces
on the program were Summon of the Dragon (Graham),
Crimond (Graham), Exultation (Mackereth) ...




... Reunion and Finale form 'Gettysburg" (Duncan) and
Norwegian Dance (Aagard-Nilsen).




After the massed band rehearsals we had our own soundchecks
and time to play through the solos of the 20-year old young
talented saxophone guest soloist ...




... Femke IJlstra who studies at the Conservatory of Amsterdam
with Arno Bornkamp.




At the concert she played "Fantasia" (arr.Van der Woude),
Ave Maria (arr. Wyss) and Pequena Czarda).
