January 25/26, 2006 - Corps Weekend at The Hague





The band started the weekend in an open air concert in
Ypenburg a new place near The Heague the Salvation Army
is developing new activities.




It was quite cold (freezing 3 degrees Celcius below zero).




In the evening concert the band played pieces like 'Odyssey'
by Kevin Norbury, a test piece written for the European Brass Band
Championships, 'Resurgam' by Eric Ball, 'Gaudete' and an euphonium
solo 'The Holy Well' by Peter Graham performed by Michel Rosenquist.




The following day, on Sunday, the band played at the
beach of Scheveningen.




If you look goodenough, you can even see the coastline of
England.
